By the way Gallup and Rass are among the major pollsters that this site tracks on a state-by-state basis to determine who's ahead in which states.

You, my Southern stupid friend, are the one ignoring Gallup and Rass if you're not looking at the state polling data.

LMAOoooo.... EXCEPT when your candidate is leading in them! Then, all of a sudden, they mean everything... they are the 'proof' that America is 'waking up' and ready for new leadership in Washington! Pinheads post them non-stop 24/7 along with the statement that these polls indicate what is to come, and we should all just give up and accept that fact.

It is funny as hell how that changes as soon as the polls aren't in your favor.
Republicans will win Florida, and probably Ohio as well. We've still not had the debates, and that is where a lot of points will shift, because your candidates are empty political suits, with no idea of what kind of "change" America is looking for, much less, how to articulate it to the people. You're in trouble... deep trouble! ...And you damn well know it too!

I've been going by this site since 2004. The polls aren't in McCain's favor by way of actually getting elected. By Nov., he'll be back down. Palin's the flavor of the week and nothing more. She's a terrible candidate and the fact that you can't stop jacking off to the new doll you got doesn't translate into tangible, long-lasting political support. She's worse than McCain, and he's the worst candidate we've seen put on a ticket in many years.

OMG... I think the RNC and McCain thought they were picking someone you would support and endorse! They must be really disappointed to hear you don't support their pick for VP, it must just be tearing their hearts out! I'm sure that if they had known you were going to respond this way to Palin, they would have consulted you on a better selection, and I bet they are regretting they didn't ask your advice first!

Here's the deal, Skippy... she's essentially made ONE speech, and the actual 'campaign' has just begun. Already, she has stolen the spotlight from Obama, and negated any 'bump' he may have gotten from the convention. Voters from every spectrum of Conservatism are enthusiastically supporting the selection, and Obama's slim lead in the polls has evaporated. In the past two weeks, she has had more absolute shit thrown at her by the left-wing, it isn't even funny, and nothing has happened except her approval ratings keep going higher, while Obama's continue to fall.

Now, the thing will be to attack her religious beliefs, which will piss off everyone of religion in this country, Republican or Democrat. But at this point, you people don't care, you're going to pull out all the stops... but what is going to happen is going to be so enjoyable for me to watch! I'm loving every second of this... to see your entire party and strategy just go right out the window, as you pathetically attempt to salvage some kind of respectability. Before the dust settles, you will be spinning Elections '08 into a "big win" for Democrats because you picked up a few seats in Congress....IF THAT! lol

Well, that really IS the thing. The Dems are GUARANTEED 55+ in the Senate, and probably closer to 60. They're also guaranteed 10+ in the House, and probably much more.

You had really better hope your Dixieworld predictions come true this time; I just saw that Mondale got a similar bump when he picked Ferraro. And, oh man, if this really is the peak - like, today, when it's basically a tie - and then people realize McCain isn't really "change", much as he tried to steal that one....oh, how priceless that would be, Dix.

I would relish seeing you here on yet another election day, spinning yet again how Republicans really "work better" in the minority, anyway (only this time, it would be a much, much worse minority than before, because you wouldn't have the White House; you'd be in the wilderness).

Hate to break it to ya, but no one is "guaranteed" anything in politics, Oncie. As I said, and you seem to already be confirming, before November, you will be spinning Elections '08 into a 'big win' because you sent a few more Democrats to Washington to serve in a Congress which only 9% of America approves of. I say, that is great, when Palin is presiding over them, that's just more pinheads for her to school in a public way.

Well, here's the deal. Dems will definitely have big, big majorities in Congress, so even if McCain wins, he'll have to work with them. And you know he will; the McCain you can't stand will re-appear. He'll be signing just about everything they throw his way.

Don't fret, though; if they win, I'm sure you'll get to see Palin at the occasional funeral.
