Isn't it amazing how the liberals have propagated the lie that tax cuts passed 10 years ago are somehow "cuts" today if they are extended. (They damned well SHOULD be made permanent - they should have been permanent from the get-go.)

Isn't it amazing how they skate by the fact that the entire current situation of facing automatic increase in everyone's taxes, with low-middle income families facing upwards of 300% increase in their federal income taxes, is entirely due to democrats being unwilling to support the 2001 cuts when they were first passed - calling them tax cuts for only the rich (An outright lie which is proven today by their admission that everyone's taxes wil go up if the extension bill is not passed) yet they blame the republicans "obstructionism" for the situation in which we find ourselves?

Isn't it further amazing that even though the republicans have agreed to a compromise in which they will support an additional extension to federal unemployment benefits, agree to yet another sunset clause for the 2001/2003 tax cuts (which are nothing less than absolutely essential to continued economic recovery,) the democrats are willing to shove their "tax the rich" agenda right up the ass of the middle class by refusing to budge on their "our way or no way" mantra?

And isn't it just outright unbelievable that despite the way the democrats are willing to send the nation right down the tubes rather than give up on their class warfare, they have masses of complete brain dead bobble heads willing to slide down the tube with them?

Yea, it will go over real big explaining to the people how their paychecks are going down up to $300/month because that is better than not being able to tax the rich more.

The republicans want to make the current rates permanent. The democrats want to dangle the issue in front of the voters every election year so they can promise to keep our taxes low. This crap proves that the democrats don't give a ripe fart for the people they supposedly represent. The poor and middle are nothing but pawns to their big government growing agenda.

We always have been the issues change, like abortion, gay marriages, taxes, but the results are the same!
