A batch of employers won't face a fine next year if they fail to provide health insurance to their workers, the Obama administration said Monday.



In regulations outlining the Affordable Care Act, the Treasury Department said employers with between 50 and 99 full-time workers won't have to comply.

Just in time to try to save the mid-term elections! In this way, Americans don't all get raped at the same time....

Tax law is once again unilaterally changed at the will of the Executive. More precedent for ending this with simple executive orders, with this precedent of simple executive orders to change tax legislation the next President can repeal this with one stroke of the pen, no Congress will be needed... Whomever the next president is will have unprecedented power based on the precedent set by this one. Imagine a libertarian thinker elected, he'll be able to set tax rates by executive order, no Congress is needed at all any longer.

A prediction: he'll push it off until at least 2017 as well, he'll not want it to hose up the Presidential election for Democrats.

Article I, Section 8:

The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;

Hey it's all good. Tax law has nothing to do with Congress right?

And per the SCOTUS, this is a tax.

And larger companies are getting a bit of a break too -- they must offer insurance to only 70 percent of full-time workers in 2015, rather than 95 percent.


So how do they pick who gets insured and who does not???

Obama's legacy looks more and more like one big pile of shit.
