if he continues further, should he step aside and allow hillary to run? personally, i don't think she has a chance of winning.

Hillary would beat Obama in the primaries, & she would stand an excellent chance in the general, if the current GOP field remains the same.

what makes you say that? i don't see any information to indicate inside party leaders are dissatisfied with obama, at least to that extent.

Party leaders have a stake in Obama - of course they're not going to say anything.

Primary voters see the blood in the water. Obama has an uphill fight to win re-election. I think Hillary would run away w/ the primaries...

Hillary has done the math and is looking toward 2016 as her best shot. If a republican wins she will try to do what her husband did and unseat him. If president Obama wins she is the heir apparent.

that could be. it was very close in 2008. i just don't see the dems switching to hillary when obama is a proven winner. imo, hillary is a wild card and some consider her too divisive to win. if she doesn't start campaigning soon, she is going to be too far behind obama in money and possibly coverage.

I don't think so. His personal approval remains high, he's going to have a billion to spend during a campaign or close to it. He will absolutely be the toughest D candidate to beat, with the power of the incumbency and a huge warchest he'll be nearly impossible to unseat.

I don't believe she's even considering running.
