Obama blast GOP

Mott the Hoople

Sweet Jane
Bout time he put the wingnuts in their place!

“We need a budget that is responsible, that is fiscally prudent, but a budget that cuts what we don’t need, closes wasteful tax loopholes that don’t create jobs, freeing up resources to invest in the things that actually do help us grow. Things like education and scientific research and infrastructure — roads, bridges, airports,” the president said in a speech at the Pathways in Technology Early College High School in Brooklyn.

“I don’t want to hear the same old stuff about how America can’t afford to invest in the things that have always made us strong,” he said. “Don’t tell me we can afford to shut down the government, which costs our economy billions of dollars, but we can’t afford to invest in our education systems, because there’s nothing more important than this.”

Remind me, Ohioan...who was in the White House between 1993 and 2000 and from 2009 until the present?

Weren't there Democrats in control of Congress at some time during the past 30 years?

Geee we managed to balance the budget under Clinton and created surpluses that ended as soon as the Bush Neocons started spending money like drunk sailors. Maybe he missed the balancing budget thing when he was in business school, ehh?

We?

Remind me, Ohioan, who controlled Congress during the financially-responsible part of BJ Clintons' sojourn in the Oral Office?

Then its odd HE, as president doesn't propose one.....

The last two he tried to put forward didn't even get ONE vote from his own Democrat party.

Hes all hat and no cattle....he talks the talk and can't walk the walk.....hes a con man, full of shit up to his eyebrows....

Thats the same speech given by every president since Hoover.

That's the only thing this lying sack of shit knows how to do. to Democrats, a "responsible, prudent" budget increases the size of government even more.

Well, you might have heard of the terrorist attack on 9/11 around that time....you know....the one where terrorists entered the country before he became president....

and then Clinton did have a wonderful Congress controlled by Republicans......

We have done nothing but spend more on education and seen nothing but failure for it.
Perhaps BO should take his own advice and concentrate on the real issue, the failure of parent(s) to place an expectation of excellence on their children. Seems like something a professional community could manage.

Still evading the fact that the right wings philosophy is a self fulfilling prophecy for failed government. No rational people will allow such backward looking people to lead us into the future. Mainly because the can't.

No. Obama is a centrist. The opposition is to the extreme far right that by comparison anything slightly to the left on Attila the Hun is a commie to them.

:rofl2:

Guess I was the only one that clicked on your link, an article from October 2013.

Obama is still a fucking loser.

LMAO... when Obama becomes fiscally responsible and creates a budget that is actually feasible instead of one that simply promises as much free shit to people as he can come up with... then you can start talking about Reps being responsible.

How many times does this idiocy have to be debunked?

1) It was WITH the REP Congress that the budget was 'balanced'.
2) There were NEVER... NOT ONCE... any actual surpluses under Clinton and that Rep Congress... though they should receive credit for their efforts and how close they came in 2000.
