Obama ad on Osama despicable...

I don't think there is anything wrong with the ad, and considering how r's marketed 9/11 and bush's bullhorn and sadam and all that stuff, i don't think they have any right to talk.

I have no idea what Ariana is thinking, but i have always considered her nothing more than a grasping opportunist so who knows.

The people on the left who will have a legit problem with this are the ones who believe we had no right to kill Osama. I am not one of them. And I don't have a problem with Obama putting it on his resume. But guess what? I understand why Republicans do. Isn't that textbook Rove? Take your opponents strongest point and attack it as a weakness until it is one? Yeah, it is. And they want this off of Obama's table come November. That's why they started this. They got one "lib" to go along with it, that's news? They always do. There is a cottage industry of libs who make a living by being the "even the liberal Steve Jones said..."

I hope obama doesn't cave and keeps this on the table. The one who squeals is the one you hit and the Repubs have been squealing like stuck hogs ever since this ad hit. Too bad. Bush failed, Obama succeeded. Own it.

Despicable might be a bit much but poor taste suits it well. But as Darla points out, the previous president didn't hesitate to use certain similar things to advance his popularity. The new age of politics?

I think it's awesome that Superfreak, who quoted the Clinton "it's 3 a.m." within the past two weeks, thinks this ad is out of bounds.

Do link us up to where I quoted the 3am piece.

I think it is awesome that Dung rushes to defend Obama at every turn. No better apologist exists. Congrats Dung. Your head is now permanently fixated up Obamas ass.

Translation: Bush did it, so its ok if Obama is like Bush. Gotcha.

Funny, but I could have sworn it was a left wing nut that I quoted. I give credit to Obama for making a call. But for pretending that it was all done due to his bidding (rather than the 10 years the CIA and others were tracking down Osama) is nothing short of sad on his part. Trotting out billy boy for the ad highlights how pathetically sad Obama is as a 'leader'. Has any other President so desperately clung to a former President like this?

The bold is awesome considering the Republican hagiography of St. Ronnie of the Blessed Deficits.

So in other words, you refuse to back up your comments with a link. You instead resort to your standard 'you look it up'. You are quite pathetic.

I didn't realize you were Mr. Short Term Memory. Here:

Wow... North Korea went back on their word? Violated the ballyhooed agreement with the Obama admin? Who could have ever predicted that? It hasn't happened since the last time we negotiated the same f'in deal with N. Korea.

Now talk that they are prepping for a nuclear test? It's 3:00am... anyone home?

LMAO... such an apologist. There is a difference to referencing Reagan and trotting out Bill to campaign and defend your messiah. No President in my life time has been so desperate as Obama. He knows he is not a leader and thus he brings Clinton out to help him rally the troops.

Also... again, since you always duck the question... tell us again who controlled the purse strings in Congress when Reagan was in office? Who controlled them during the late 90's under Clinton?

They only reference Reagan because they can't trot his dead ass out there.

I've answered the question before. I just refuse to continually answer it every time you pose it since you refuse to recognize that the budgets Reagan proposed were just as, if not more, expensive than the ones that came out of Congress. It's of a piece with your Reagan hagiography. You refuse to acknowledge any facts that go against your ideal of St. Ronnie.
