All the blue cities in america are like this now. Everybody lives off crime and welfare. NYC has millions of illegals and this sure looks like one.

However, if you’re in a hurry, feel free to bring a blowtorch to cut through those security protections.

While you do, one of our associates will be happy to record your shopping experience on their cellphone. Except they know and you know nothing is going to happen to you.

But none of this is funny. Especially to Walgreens management, employees and stockholders. And such antics are taking place on both coasts, especially in California and New York, and in major U. S. cities.

Stores should simply harden their storefront. If you put in say 1 to 2" of lexan for the street windows, and a double set of doors with a anteroom between them making the doors deadbolt electronically and the rest of the windows and stuff around them out of another 1" of lexan, you simply trap the would-be shoplifter in that box until the police can arrive.

You aren't blowtorching through that. You can't break it. You can't shoot a bullet through it. You are stuck and stuck good.

Something like that with the store on one side. The doors open one at a time and are interlocked so you can't just run through the space between them.

False imprisonment for the thief and the customers.
 
Best solution is to let stores refuse service to anyone they choose like facebook and twitter and paypal and many banks do to conservatives. Put up signs saying blacks and hispanics not allowed.
 
People working in retail don't get paid nearly enough to do police work for their employers.
They're supposed to have security for that.

Exactly how much do you think it would cost to do that per store?

Maybe it's time to just close the stores where that kind of shit happens.

Or maybe Congress should create new good Samaritan laws that would protect citizens who forcefully put a stop to this kind of crap.

Make it legal for anyone who wants to, to walk right up to guys like him and just deck them.

One good hard fist straight into the center of his face would have sent him running home to mommy.

Is no “point” to the post, the source took an episode from a metro area of twenty million plus and projected it implying it is a city wide crisis, it is not, either is crime in NYC
