Who remembers the original Nathan's in Coney Island?
Remember those big fries in a brown paper bag with the salt and shaking it up?
Remember the lightly battered fantail shrimp for 75 cents? You'd get about 4 of them served in a paper cone smothered with tartar sauce
How about Brighton Beach?
Up on the boardwalk they had this knish joint. They served all flavors you'd ever think of. My favs were the regular potato and the kasha knish.
Remember putting mustard on them?
Those were the days.
