If you look at the House districts where a black represents, many, though not all, have at or above 50% gerrymandered black districts. The only blue district in my state was created that way on purpose because the black whiners couldn't get anyone elected despite the congressional district prior to that being divided pretty much in line with the demographics of the state. They couldn't get a black elected despite that so to them it was unfair.
