You do know they speak Spanish because Europeans came and took them over, breeding with them, etc. Thus many are "hybrid", as you called them, often lighter or darker skin in the areas can create some pride/envy...

There are Mexicans, as Mexican as any dark skinned Native looking guy, who have red hair and blue eyes.

I am quite aware of that. I went to school with some more Indian-type and some mixed with Spanish Columbians.
That's why I said what I said.
It's South American Indian, which is different from American tribes.
Very straight and smooth black hair is a trait of the Columbian Indians.
