The Force is With Me
In the last decade, the headlines and coverage generated from stories about NFL player arrests can make it sound like the NFL is full of criminals.

But is it? According to a new study, the numbers don't support that narrative.

Research done by the University of Texas at Dallas shows that the arrest rate for all men of the same general age group was nearly twice as high than as that of NFL players from 2000 to 2013.

"There's a perception that the NFL has this huge crime problem and that it's longstanding," said Dr. Alex Piquero, a professor of criminology at UT Dallas who was one of the authors of the study. "That's what everybody believes. The data show that it's not true."

So instead of forcing players to stand, the NFL has decided to address the issues of Kapernick's stand and give Trump the finger.

McNair has tried to walk it back, insinuating that the NFL main office was 'the inmates'. It ain't working, but I think he picked a bad cliche. I don't think he meant they were actual criminals.

That indeed may be true, but he's brought up a false perception that needs to be addressed.

You should hope so considering how wealthy they are. I'd like to see a side-by-side comparison with people in their income bracket.

What would you like to see? The damage done to society? Because nobody on Wall St has gone to jail yet for their crimes. They just pay billions in fines, after stealing tens of billions during the commission of crimes.

Yes he did. He meant every word.

A lot of powerful racist white men along with their supporters believe that statement.

The NFL is headed for a lock out in 2021. Can only imagine the Trump tweet storm that would ignite if he's still in office.

Throws a wrench in someone's shitty narrative.............

Great picts :D

What would you like to see? The damage done to society? Because nobody on Wall St has gone to jail yet for their crimes. They just pay billions in fines, after stealing tens of billions during the commission of crimes.

Note: the company pays, they get their bonuses, jobs etc etc etc..... That none of them went to jail is a horrendous crime..

I kinda think he would be in a tweet storm regardless..... (Assuming he is still in office)

He is always pissed about something, hating on someone or just stirring the pot to cover over his latest fuck-up or foot in the mouth... Sadly it works.. You would think fools would learn-BUT NO!!!!!

McNair is brain diseased and should be forced to sell his team because some people didn't like the idiom he used?

That's aggressive
