NYU Graduate Student Union Adopts BDS Resolution
Resolution passes with 66.5 percent in favor, additional 57 percent pledging to boycott Israeli academic institutions; vote is 'at odds with the principles of academic freedom and the free exchange of ideas,' NYU says.
According to the resolution, the union will continue to support the boycott until "Israel complies with international law and ends the military occupation, dismantles the wall, recognizes the rights of Palestinian citizens to full equality, and respects the right of return of Palestinian refugees and exiles," a statement on the union's website read.
In addition, 57 percent of union members took a personal pledge to boycott Israeli government and academic institutions "complicit in Israeli violation of Palestinian rights."

For those that do not know- and vested interest control of media sources leads me to believe that that might well be many- BDS stands for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions.
BDS is a non-violent response to Israeli criminality, criminality which Western governments do not address due to their own dependence upon the powers of the varied Israel lobbies which control government members. BDS is successfully countering this cowardice by encouraging the public to act independently.
So successful is the movement that some Western governments, the US and the UK included, have passed/are passing laws to make it a criminal offense for us to oppose interaction with Israel. In short, a foreign power is in control of your freedom of choice.
The alternative to BDS- bloody resistance- has long been the ONLY option in countering illegal neoZionist activities and many thousands have died. The message of BDS is that violence is not the only way, even if our governments are rotten with fascist sympathizers . So give it a try. Shun all things Israeli until Israelis themselves kick their ruling fascists in the ass and come back to embracing civilized and just behavior.
NeoZionism is a political doctrine, not a religion- and opposing it is in no way anti-Jewish. It is simply anti-fascist . Shame on anybody that does not give the peaceful route of BDS a chance.
