Maddow offered a new thought on Christie's retaliation. A State Senator who refused to endorse and vote for his judges. I guess it's becoming more evident as more people come out of hiding that Christie is a master at intimidation. AKA, a bully.

We need to hold our leaders accountable. The People of New Jersey pretty much get what they deserve IMHO for re electing this dude....
 
Christie is a big bad bully and an example should be made.

I mean, his underlings closed a lane on a bridge!

This must not stand!

It would be different if, say, a US ambassador had been murdered or something. That's nothing. It would have been a minor thing, hardly worth mentioning.

There is no there there. There is no scandal. He said he didn't know anything about it and you should believe him. I mean you believed Obama didn't know anything about the IRS targeting conservative groups. You believed that Obama didn't know anything about Fast and Furious. You believed Obama didn't know anything about Benghazi. You believed Obama when he said "If you like your plan, you can keep your plan."

Spare me your feigned indignation at a politician using government against its political opponents.

Well if he isn't I'm not voting for him! Last thing we need in the White House is another whimp! LBJ got more done in congress than all the following Presidents combined have. That's cause they feared him.

Obama is criticized here often, by liberals, there is only one poster who supports everything he does, the rest of us have our own bones to pick with him. My biggest criticism are his drone policies and the failure to close GITMO. There are others but, the topic of this thread is Christie, so now back to the topic!

My major criticism is that he's taken far to long to get us out of Afghanistan and that he pussed out on the ACA legilation and made compromises that were niave as hell that came back to bite him in the ass politically and caused the ACA to fall far short of what it should have been.

If a he was responsible (at this point at least a top member of his staff WAS)... then yes, it is major. A person died because an ambulance couldn't get across the bridge fast enough. While we cannot say for certain that person would have definitely made it had the ambulance been unimpeded, we can say they would have had a better chance of survival.

ALL Dem senators who refused to approve his appointments. It's been a 3 year battle that he started.. The day before that infamous email, he referred to the Dem in the Senate as 'animals'. Those who got fired will only remain quiet until the lawsuits arise.


"I was not going to let her loose to the animals," Christie said. Later, he added: "What the ramifications would be for that going forward, [Senate Democrats] should have thought about before opening their mouths."
The very next morning, Bridget Anne Kelly emailed David Wildstein with "time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee."

They interviewed that persons daughter today on TV. She was a 91 year old lady and her daughter said she was gone when the ambulance picked her up at her home. Still...that doesn't change the fact that it was an incredibly bone headed stunt and those responsible should be held accountable.
