NEW YORK – The fashion industry made it clear at its annual awards ceremony Monday night that it's looking to future stars to see it past the doldrums of the recession, shunning longtime favorites and honoring a largely new guard: Rodarte, Proenza Schouler, Alexander Wang — and Michelle Obama.

In their desperate attempts to make Michelle Obama into Jackie Kennedy they only make themselves look foolish. She is a terrible dresser.

Whomever is dressing her is not another black woman.
 
I hesitate to say "terrible dresser".....she dresses like one of us ordinary people....an thats fine with me....give her a break already....

Neither myself, my wife, nor anybody we know hesitate to say she's a terrible dresser. Some of the shit she wears looks absolutely cartoonish.

But I disagree that this demonstrates a liberal bias in the media. There is no liberal bias in the media and all one has to do to confirm that is look at the Bush years when the media rolled over and failed miserably to excersise it's responsibility as the Fourth Estate. It's as if they were asking the Bush Administration what they could print.

Please,,,you must have given up reading the newspapers and watching MSNBC, CNN, ABC and NBC for the last 8 years....
Bush was bashed non-stop in every outlet, 24/7, and I mean the NEWS, the comedians, the sit-coms, ...even cable stuff like HBO and MOVIES had theri share of Bush Bash Programing..........the only place even remotely fair to Bush was FOX and even then he seldom got good press, just not as bad as other networks....so don't try to piss on my head and tell me its raining....I watched it personally for the entire 8 years.....shows like "The View" and "Keith Obermann" and "Chris Matthews" is still at it and Bush is long gone...
the comparison between now and then is mindboggling...

What are you talking about?

Had the media done their job the fraud of the invsion of Iraq would have been exposed long ago.

The ONLY media that was reporting the truth about not only Iraq, but insane Bush policies was alternative media .. which is why the American public turned on mainstream media and no longer rely on it for serious news coverage.

If your argument is that Bush seldom got good coverage on Fox, then obviously my brother you and I exist in completely different worlds.
