Nevada primary underwhelming and possible portent of things to come

Nevada held their primaries yesterday. Trump wasn't on the ballot. Turnout was stunningly low in both party's primaries compared to 2020.

Biden won easily but only 16% of Democrat voters bothered to show up and vote for him. Even though Trump wasn't on the ballot "None of the Above" won over twice as many votes a Nikki Haley and about the same number of votes as Biden received.

The thing unspoken so far is what happens if Trump isn't on the ballot in November because the courts kicked him off, or he isn't on in many Democrat states for whatever reason? Nevada shows a glimpse of the possible result.

Let's say that does happen. Trump is kicked off for whatever reason. Further, let's say 30 to 35% of voters show up to vote in the Presidential election in November as a result, or may 40% do and of those, None of the Above or Nobody gets say 45% of the vote. Biden wins on something like 20% of the total eligible voters with a narrow win over "Nobody."
Would he be accepted as a legitimate President when far more than half the country didn't vote for him? I'd say that will become a serious political crisis for the nation. It would be the sort of win dictators like Maduro in Venezuela get.

Whatever you think of Trump, it's starting to show what a problem kicking him off the ballot by whatever means the Left is trying, is a huge mistake. It's going to potentially cause a second civil war as a result. I for one don't want that to happen.

Nevada is an exception, it chooses delegates by caucus ...

"Caucuses In Lieu of a Presidential Primary Election in Nevada
Pursuant to Nevada law, Nevada does not conduct Primary Elections to select Presidential candidates. Instead, major political parties hold caucuses. The political parties determine the dates of the caucuses and deadlines by which to be registered to attend. The Clark County Election Department is not involved in the conduct of caucuses. Also see the Nevada Secretary of State's web page on Presidential caucuses, that includes dates and contact information. "

You are aware that it was Republicans that initiated the case in Colorado to throw Trump off the ballot

Matters little, ain’t happening, majority of the other States where similar cases were started rejected it, and everyone SCOTUS is going to throw it out

Doesn't change one iota what I said.

If scotus blocks Trump from all ballots, I suppose a lot of people would refuse to pay taxes. The gov't would print more money to make up for it, causing inflation to spiral out of control. And Police, military, and judges would go on strike.

Libs would try to build concentration camps. But none of them know how to use a hammer. So libs would try to bring back slavery, and fail because Blacks are allowed to own firearms these days.

The voters aren’t showing up for the primaries because it’s a foregone conclusion, to most, who the candidates will be.

The voters will show up for the general election.

Usually when someone is running for reelection, and is running for the nomination basically unopposed, the turnout is under 5%. 16% is the turnout for a contested nomination, or a highly engaged nomination.

Citation. The numbers I've cited, based on official commentary and past elections says that the Democrat turnout so far has been about 50% of what was expected in primaries. That is, the expected turnout has been half, or less, of prediction for an unopposed candidate for president.

Ultimately, South Carolina saw only 4% voter turnout statewide with 131,870 ballots cast, the lowest turnout in the past three Democratic presidential preference primaries.
