Israel aims to annul press credentials for 'contrary to reality' headlines


Israel has threatened to annul press credentials of journalists and editors who use ‘contrary to reality’ headlines for their articles. The move comes in response to a publication from US broadcaster CBS after a terror attack in Jerusalem on Wednesday.

CBS reacted to the terrorist attack which claimed the life of a 19-year-old female officer with a post titled “3 Palestinians killed as daily violence grinds on,” triggering outrage among Israeli officials.

Not satisfied with creating the climate for Palestinian revolt the invaders are attempting to control the manner in which their activities are reported in America.

Irrespective of the nature of the content the USA supports free speech. To have a foreign power threaten Americans because of their beliefs is unacceptable.

CBS should never have submitted to this blackmail . The world views Israeli behavior as ' an affront ' already.

Our media has never reported both sides of the story, it is very unfortunate, as a result many here think Israel does no wrong.

I'm not understanding the disappointment. I specifically said because this report comes from liberal sources doesn't automatically make it wrong. But the perception of Israel often breaks down along right/left lines in this country.

That's true; though, many issues break along partisan lines in this country. The parallel would be that the Palestinians are the Fergusun crowd on the international front. The liberal media is sympathetic to both.

I remember a few years ago where the MSM were circulating a story of this young boy that was shot by the "invading Jews" as he hid behind a medal trash container.
This story continued for months, until an independent reporter released a video showing that there was no way that he could have been targeted by the Jews and that instead he was shot in the back by the Palestinians, during the gun battle.
Once that was released, the MSM all of a sudden decided that the story was no longer of any importance.

Man, I can list 100 other instances of similar anti-Israel bias besides the al durra BS story/fraud: jenin "massacre", that Israel opened floodgates to flood Gaza with water and sewage, that Israel was taking organs from the fakestinians, that Israel was lying about EU financial support being used for terrorism, there have been so many lies and false accusations lapped up and devoured by the media that were proven false not long after.

But did we ever see the media come clean and admit their despicable behavior? Of course not.
