NATO official: Gadhafi a legitimate target

A U.N. resolution justifies the targeting of Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi, a senior NATO military official with operational knowledge of the Libya mission told CNN Thursday.

the US is now willing to assassinate gadhafi, which is against our policy..... without US support, nato would not be able to conduct libya missions. obama, the peace prize winner....is now for assassination of heads of state.

yet....liberals, for the most part, don't care....obama is a dem....

oh, and before you lefties get your panties in a bunch, did the US, as a member of nato and the un....object to this?
 
What crap....Gadhafi means nothing, nothing to this country in any way......our military action against him and his country is an outrageous, illegal act......and the reasons are so bogus and phony its laughable....
we've watched genocide in the Sudan, and wholesale civilian slaughter in Syria have done nothing....And when we moved against Saddam for killing his own people, plus his attempt assassinate our president and his claim to be in possession of WMD, we would condemned for it....

i didn't mean to give the impression i thought otherwise.

i know our assassination policy is for our "intelligence" community, however, how is this not a political assassination? i'm pretty sure this violates the spirit of executive order 11905, if not actually violates it as i have no doubt we are using military intelligence and it says no employee.....etc

Well that's a very large gray area. In order to accurately comment i'd want to see the actual orders/statements.
