Despite the predictable unhinged howling from the left, he told reporters, “Chuck and Nancy would like to see something happen, and so do I.”

Liberals ignored the news in shocked disbelief. Trump knows that Obama's Executive Order was an unconstitutional end run around Congress, and has wisely tossed the issue of reforming immigration law back where it belongs.

On Thursday morning, at Nancy’s request, Trump posted a tweet, “For all of those (DACA) that are concerned about your status during the 6 month period, you have nothing to worry about — No action!”

Once again, liberals didn't know whether to shit or go blind. It was hilarious to see them demonstrating and demanding an end to mass deportations that Trump never ordered.

Is this bold bipartisanship? Shrewd deal-making? A shot across the bow of RINOs who failed to deliver on Obamacare repeal?

Once again, Washington swamp-dwellers and their Deep State supporters find themselves trying to figure out why Trump did what he did.

lol? DACA has been rescinded. Whatever happens 6 months from now Trump gets credit for that. If Trump goes back on his word then then that is the time we will deal with it but as of right now DACA has a 6 months timeline that it did not have before.

And no DACA would not have been gone in 6 months if the GOP ag's pushed thru with the case. That would still take years as it worked its way up the courts with all appeals etc etc.

Trump rejected the offer of House speaker Paul Ryan (R., Wisc.) and Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) to extend the debt limit for 18 months, past the 2018 mid-term elections.

Ryan and McConnell were ready to drop-kick the debt-limit 18 months down the road, in return for . . . nothing.

Even worse, they did not tie the debt-limit boost to any structural reforms, such as a cap on federal spending as a share of GDP, adoption of the brilliant Penny Plan (which would balance the budget by cutting total spending by 1 percent every year for eight years), a private-sector audit of every federal department and sub-cabinet agency, or even converting Washington’s books from cash-basis to accrual accounting.

Ryan and McConnell promised 18 months of borrowing and spending on autopilot. Trump properly rejected such fiscal brain death.

Now, in three months, fiscal conservatives can and should append reformist language to the next debt-limit increase. Ryan/McConnell would have denied them that opportunity.
