The killing, expulsion and ethnic cleansing of Palestine's indigenous people was planned by European Zionists from the outset. The Nakba was not an occasion of Nazi-persecuted Jews being attacked by Arabs as they tried to establish a homeland for themselves. The murder, expulsion and etnic cleansing of Palestinians was planned pre- WW2.
Here are some extracts from the writings/speeches of the early Zionist terrorists- that is, the Jews that claimed that they deserved somebody else's country ;
Ben-Gurion wrote: "The compulsory transfer of the Arabs from the valleys of the proposed Jewish state could give us something which we have never had, even when we stood on our own during the days of the First and Second Temples: [a Galilee almost free of non-Jews]. ... We are being given an opportunity which we never dared to dream of in our wildest imagination.

In a joint meeting between the Jewish Agency Executive and Zionist Action Committee on June 12th, 1938:
"With compulsory transfer we [would] have a vast area [for settlement] .... I support compulsory transfer. I don't see anything immoral in it." (Righteous Victims p. 144).

Ben-Gurion was a consummate strategist and he understood that it would be unwise for the Zionists to talk openly about the need for ‘brutal compulsion’. We quote a memorandum Ben-Gurion wrote prior to the Extraordinary Zionist Conference at the Biltmore Hotel in New York in May 1942. He wrote that ‘it is impossible to imagine general evacuation’ of the Arab population of Palestine ‘without compulsion, and brutal compulsion’.
