Rumppers keep parroting this, but its simply not supported by any evidence.

The best they have come up with is a Comey, out of context quote where he calls a portion of the Dossier unverified.

IF you are going to make these very serious allegations against law enforcement, you really should have some evidence to back it up!

Got anything, I am all ears....

If I tell a reporter you have a nuclear bomb in your basement. The reporter runs a story that you have a nuclear bomb in your basement and then I use that story to get a warrant based on you have a nuclear bomb in your basement, then that is not evidence. It is a perversion of the system (and the media). I don't know the ins and out of this case, but the using a story you fed to the press as probably cause to get a warrant you otherwise couldn't get aspect of it is very suspect.

How is that scenario similar to what is going on her? Where is there any evidence that the portions of the dossier used to get the warrant were unverified?

McCabe testified that the warrant would never have been sought without the dossier. [THREAD/]

OK... I agree so far, but how is that evidence that the portions of the dossier that were used were unverified?

its a Nunes lie

The memo, released on Friday against FBI objections and with Trump’s approval, makes a particular claim against McCabe. In its attempt to claim that ex-British spy Christopher Steele’s salacious dossier played a central role in the surveillance of Trump aides—a claim the memo’s own admissions undermine—the memo claims that McCabe told the House intelligence committee that Steele was a pillar of information for a surveillance warrant application.
“Deputy Director McCabe testified before the Committee in December 2017 that no surveillance warrant would have been sought from the FISC without the Steele dossier information,” the memo claims, referring to the secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.
Asked if that was a true representation, a source familiar with McCabe’s testimony responded: “100% not.”

the entire dossier was submitted as evidence, while they knowing held back the corroborating Ishakoff article
was from the same source- Steele. Further they footnoted "political" but it was paid for by Fusion GPS from Clinton funds - laundering it's source.

IG report due out in March

Where is there proof that the entire dossier was submitted for evidence?

Cite your evidence

I see you are falling back on the ole lefty standby of “it was out of context”

What portion was unverified?

What portion led to the warrant?

You seem awfully knowledgeable so maybe you can back it up with citations? If not, I completely understand
