My friends are crazy...quitting jobs to tour around the world...

My friends who are a couple making 200k a year...

He works on Wall Street at Barclays @ 120k and she works for Deloitte at 80k...

Have both sent in their letter of resignation to go tour around the world for 1 year..... Using all their life savings..

Aka Africa, Asia, Europe....

Man thats crazy shit....

Indeed, it seems they picked an inauspicious time to loose their future into the ether.

I would have waited a year.

Me? I joined the Navy to travel the world.
 
I don't want to travel around the world. The US will do....but not Hawaii. No desire to go there either.
 
Ahh, the wife's been there and told me about it. Nothing I'm dying to see or do. I much prefer Alaska and Maine.

Alaska rocks and the hunting is just awesome. I've been to places that I can fully believe no other human has ever been to. (Doubtful, but you can find no evidence of them).
