Murder; rape; and theft OH MY!

The occupy movement has turned into a mob of violence and anarchy in a number of cities across the nation- It is so disingenuous of the media to not be covering it as such in a 24 news cycle. During the TEA Party rallies and Town Hall events the media reported on their so called violence;we can all remember the media loops of some angry senior citizen asking politicians tough questions- and decrying racism because there were so few faces of color at these events. Recall the numerous threads in this very forum about how awful it was that TEA Party participants were being "disruptive" and violent and un-American.

Funny, I just can't recall murders; rapes; thefts; suicides; destruction of private and public property- old ladies being knocked down at TEA party rallies...can you? I mean as often as their events were in the news and presented to the viewing public as angry and dangerous- all I can think of is a few old men asking tough questions and some ladies wearing teabags on their hats... But the occupiers? Murder; rape; and theft- OH MY!

The Liberal Left posters have obviously not received the Democrat talking points, that would allow them to respond to this and are therefore hiding from the information; until they are told how to post.

I get partisan politics; it has been trending ever since cable news was born. But to pretend that the media is being honest in their reportage is beyond partisan, it's idiocy!

Perhaps we should consider what happened in foreign countries when news of demonstrations spread. Are the "powers that be" deliberately downplaying events in order to avoid further demonstrations as opposed to maligning the events hoping people will disassociate themselves from them?

Just saying.

Or are they presenting the best "spin" because the agenda of the left is to give government more power over the means of production and wealth? Are the powers that be using demonstrators as "useful idiots" ? Just saying.

Considering the numbers and global reach of this genuine grassroots movement, it's no surprise to me that there are some unsavory goings on.

Some of the people I've seen at an Occupy site were street people who saw a chance to hustle a few bucks.

I guarantee you if there were two murders at tea party rally's. These libtards would be having a hissy fit big time.

I guarantee you that if the Occupiers got marijuana legalized, the "highly-educated" TopDoper would suck their dicks...

If the "useful idiots" succeed in getting medical care for everyone and government assistance for those in need then bring on the demonstrations. :)

How many threads demonizing the Occupiers have the JPP 1% lovers posted so far? Anyone kept count?

Everyone can get medical care in the US now. Of course you consider medical care waiting 6 to18 months for care- in the US we don't.

Sure, everyone can get medical care. That's why 45,000 people die, every year, from a lack of medical care.
(Excerpt) New study finds 45,000 deaths annually linked to lack of health coverage.
Uninsured, working-age Americans have 40 percent higher death risk than privately insured counterparts (End)

I guess those 45,000 folks were just too lazy to drive to the doctor's office.

Canada has 35 million people? the US has 350 million- People die in Canada "waiting" for their supposedly "free" health care- I do not pretend our system is perfect- but single payer government health care is not the answer.

Government care may not be the perfect answer but it's a lot better than private care. How do we know that? We know that by knowing every country with government health care started out with private care and not one country that implemented government care has reverted to private care. Not one exception. Not the English or French or Germans or Italians or Australians or Norwegians or Canadians or Danish or Spanish or.....

Here's a list of countries and life expectancy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_life_expectancy

You'll notice life expectancy in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Australia, Norway, Canada, Denmark and Spain is longer than in the US and they all have government medical. So even with all the stories about waiting lists and no money for supplies and no money for research and all the other propanganda espoused by the greedy people involved in making money off the sick the citizens in those countries are living longer and isn't that what it's all about, living?
