Here's a clue, it wasn't because it was in the Atlantic Ocean. BTW, The nearest country to Hawaii is Kiribati, which is in Australasia and he was speaking about APEC.

And I wouldn't be posting about Obamas gaffes and stupid remarks either if Bush and Palin weren't persecuted for their mistakes......

could it be because the entire US NAVY was supposed to be there ? Including 3 carriers......Maybe ?
