Maloney v. Rice
looks like people in NY may get to use weapons other than firearms for protection. a refresher for what this case was about. Maloney was arrested with nunchuka's and charged with carrying a deadly weapon. Sotomayor, in her opinion regarding this case, wrote that nunchukas were such a deadly and dangerous weapon, that NY was completely within their authority to ban possession and carrying.
