More on Obama's latest gun ban

Yep, that political bank robbery in 1974 is proof.

An hour before the rampage, Hawkins' mother gave the Sarpy County Sheriff's Department his suicide note which stated, "I just want to take a few pieces of shit with me... just think tho, I'm gonna be fuckin famous."

Hawkins entered the south entrance of the Von Maur department store about 1:36 p.m.. After walking a short distance into the store, he paused for a second, then turned around and left. Returning six minutes later through the same entrance, he proceeded directly to the elevator at his immediate right, this time with a commercial copy of the AKM 7.62x39mm semi-automatic rifle stolen from his stepfather's house, along with two 30-round magazines.

Wrong rifle, sorry.

Jeez you are reaching. So someone who enjoys hunting, enjoyings target shooting, and chooses not to be dependent on an over-stretched and semi-competent police force is doing so out of fear?

Are you afraid of fire, Legion?

why is legion so afraid of guns? did he get pistol whipped by his mom?

An Alabama man with an assault weapon burned down his mother's house around her, shot his grandparents, aunt and uncle dead, then killed five other people Tuesday before turning the gun on himself, authorities said. Coffee County coroner Robert Preachers identified the shooter as Michael McLendon and said he was in his 30s.
It was unclear if the mother, Lisa McClendon, who died, had been shot.
Authorities gave no motive for McLendon's rampage, which claimed victims in several homes in the small towns of Kinston, Samson and Geneva and along the highway connecting them and ended at the metal plant where he once worked. Two of the dead were a sheriff deputy's wife and 18-month-old child.
Several other people were injured, including Geneva Police Chief Frankie Lindsey, who was saved by his bulletproof vest and a state trooper wounded by flying glass when his car was hit with seven slugs.
"He sprayed bullets through the town," Kirke Adams, district attorney for Geneva and Dale counties, told the Associated Press.
Investigators Tuesday night were looking into possible shootings in other locations. "This is one of the most tragic events ever in Geneva County," state Sen. Harri Anne Smith said.

And he used an M1? Please show where you got that tidbit of info. I didn't see it in any of the articles I scanned.

The 2009 Pittsburgh police shootings was a shootout that took place on Saturday, April 4, 2009, at 1016 Fairfield Street in the Stanton Heights neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States, stemming from an argument over a dog urinating in the house between a mother and her 22-year-old son.

At approximately 7:11 a.m. EDT, 22-year-old Richard Poplawski opened fire on two Pittsburgh Police officers responding to a 911 call from Poplawski's mother, who was attempting to get the police officers to remove her son from the home.

Three police officers were ultimately confirmed dead, and another two were seriously injured.

According to Chief of Police Nathan Harper, Poplawski was armed with a semi-automatic AK-47-style rifle....

Still the wrong rifle. The M1 uses a .30 cal round that is anemic by modern standards. We can only HOPE more criminals used M1 rifles.

The Hungerford massacre occurred inHungerford, Berkshire, England, on 19 August 1987. The gunman, 27-year-old Michael Robert Ryan, armed with twosemi-automatic riflesand ahandgun, shot and killed sixteen people including his mother, and wounded fifteenRyan used the Beretta pistol, and the Type 56 and M1 rifles, in the massacre.

Pnwed again, panic-puss.

Not panicked at all. You found 2 instances where an M1 was used in crimes. One in 1974 and one in 1987. And one of those happened in "gun free" England.

I think I could find more instances where a shovel was used to murder.

A shovel would be appropriate, as you try to dig yourself out of your fear-filled funk and obscure the fact that you've been pnwed again.

Pwnd? Me? I am the one who kept trying to keep you focused on the actual topic.

You keep talking about fear. But I am trying to have a civil discussion while you are ranting, making baseless accusations, and ignoring the facts.

I challenge you again to show any posts of mine that show fear.

Gunlovers are consumed with fear.

Absolute hogwash. Repeating it is not showing evidence, nor does it make it true.

They are scared of "criminals".

I am not scared of fire, but I have 3 fire extinguishers and a dozen smoke detectors. Guns are the same, except they have other uses.

They are scared that "the government" wants to take their toys.

As I have shown before, there are numerous powerful politicians who do want to take my guns.

They are scared that the boogeyman is coming to get them.

Boogeyman? Sorry, fairytales don't bother me at all.
Why else are guntards hypervigilant?

Because there are politicians and organizations with the stated goal of removing all privately owned firearms. Our vigilance (as a group) has prevented that.

As has been shown, some Korean surplus M1 rifles aren't going to be sold to cowardly gunlovers...they panic and start spreading fear.

Having the opportunity to purchase historically significant firearms denied for either no reason or ridiculous reasons is a reason for anger and disgust. No fear, just anger and disgust.
They can buy the same type weapon openly, but want to pretend that their inability to buy these specific Korean rifles is a major deal.

These guns are of historical significance to collectors. And the price will, undoubtedly drop when the bulk of them hit the market. Both of those are good things.
What a pack of panty-wetters.

Nah, just americans with an entertaining hobby that provides extra benefits. The actual panty-wetters are the ones responding to the anti-gun propaganda.

Legion, are you saying that politicians never try and take guns from law abiding citizens or abridge our 2nd amendment rights?

Answer this rather than spouting the same "gunlovers are afraid!" bits.

You guys realize that feeding the troll made this thread suck. Right?

Damo, if I waited for only serious posts on threads, the boredom would send me running someplace else.

If the troll is ruining the threads then get rid of him. Don't bitch at the people who converse with someone who, according to you, is a member in good standing.

Wow, I didn't expect you to take it all personal and stuffs... It was, admittedly, a rather poor joke. I was expecting Rootbeer to jump in and dig at Yurt with my easy setup...
