"In a news conference Saturday night, hours after a gunman shot 19 people, including Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and Judge John McCarthy Roll, Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik said investigators do not believe the shooting acted alone.

According to The Associated Press, the suspect has been identified as Jared Loughner. Dupnik would not confirm that.

While Loughner is in custody, Dupnik said authorities are actively pursuing another individual..."
