More evidence the left lied that the birther issue was because Obama is black

the left claims the issue never arose before obama and that proves that the issue is about race. despite evidence showing other politicians have faced the same issue, the left marched on like good little drones. here is more evidence that eligibility based on birth was an issue before obama:

Records in a George Romney archive at the University of Michigan describe how questions about his eligibility to be president surfaced almost as soon as he began his short-lived campaign.

In many ways, they appear to echo today's complaints that Trump and some other conservative "birthers" have made about Obama while questioning whether Obama - whose father was from Kenya and mother was from Kansas - was born in Hawaii.

the more the left plays the race card, the more they hurt actual race issues.

why are you so stupid? seriously...what is false here onceler?

i predict you will never answer the question.

Just like every other question you "predicted" I wouldn't answer, I'll answer this one. Scale, Yurtsie - scale. You have profound issues with it.

you rarely answer, and only after much goading. you're a wuss onceler.

so the scale of the former eligibility question is different from the obama eligibility question?

1. how so

2. how does that make my claim in the OP wrong?

You're really a moron. How so? Because it was infinitessimal compared to the flap over Obama's questions. How does that make your OP wrong? Because it is a completely false comparison.

Get it? No, you don't - because you're the most simple-minded idiot who posts here.

wow...you are really dumb. here is my OP claim:

the left claims the issue never arose before obama

now...did the claim arise before obama?

yes or no

answer the question.

i doubt you will. you never do when you know your rants get shot down.

It's pathetic. It's a false question - a false premise, followed by a false equivalency. Scale matters, in a big way. When the left "claims" it never came up (your words, btw), they're saying it was never an ongoing national issue even close to this scale.

Your attempts to create equivalency, are - as always - desperate, stupid and failing. Like you.

how is asking --> if it came up before --> a false question?

did it or did it not come up before obama?

why is it you're such wuss that you can't answer that simple question? stop being a hack for once onceler, and answer the question.

let me just sum up this thread:

onceler thinks that evidence of prior eligibility claims, based on where the person is born, is somehow a false equivalency, to another claim of eligibility based on where the person is born.

what a moron.

:palm:

Also, too, George Romney was born in Mexico. Obama was born in the United States. So there is something of a false equivalency here as per usual.

And Romney was an issue during the vetting process. According to the link in the OP, Obama released his birth cert. in June '08 in order to prove his legal name for some boneheads. A couple of months later, the birther issue was born, but dismissed by the court as 'frivolous'.

What's unprecedented, is the laundry list of disrespectful accusations aimed at any POTUS, that began right after his inauguration.

Can't imagine why. Hmm.......

both obama and GR had an eligibility issue. how is that a false equivalency?

Well, because GR had a legitimate eligibility issue given that he was born in Mexico. What was the issue with Obama again other than he was blackity black black? Nothing.

I'm amazed Yurt even questioned that.

Yurt - what you basically did was prove the point you were attempting to counter. Just an FYI.

you do realize the birthers have the same issue. they believe obama was NOT born in hawaii. the eligibility claim/issue --> is identical.

that is the truth.

how is the issue different onceler?

you claim my statement they are identical is stupid.....then explain it. i doubt you can. but do try.

Well, let's see - they're not identical because one guy actually wasn't born in America?

I dunno; I think most would see that as a pretty big distinction, Yurtsie. You're hopeless.
