President Donald Trump agreed to support billions of dollars in new weapons sales to South Korea after North Korea’s largest nuclear test, while his ambassador to the United Nations said the U.S. would seek the strongest possible sanctions against Kim Jong Un’s regime.

Trump and Moon agreed to maximize pressure on North Korea using all means at their disposal. Trump, who reportedly threatened over the weekend to pull out of the U.S.-South Korea trade agreement, had taken aim at President Moon’s administration. South Korea is finding its “talk of appeasement with North Korea will not work,” he said on Twitter.

Chang Kyung-soo, acting chief of the Defense Ministry’s policy planning office, told lawmakers in Seoul on Monday that North Korea was readying a missile.

UN Ambassador Nikki Haley said that Kim was “begging for war”.

South Korea has removed the final administrative hurdle for the full deployment of a U.S. missile defense system known as Thaad.

The nation’s navy also began live-fire drills involving 20 vessels.

Nobody should participate in a thread which bans so many potential participants.

Oh yeah- Yanqui, go home.

None of your dollops ever meet the threshold requirements of a participant, idiot- so it's accepted that the term is a mystery to you.

It seems to me that Trump is listening to his military advisors and is trying everything possible to rectify what past administrations pushed under the rug for far too long.
Had this been taken care of, the little gnome wouldn't have the capabilities he has now, and his people might actually be able to breathe without asking for permission.

It's illuminating to see the PLO/Hamas contingent represented in this thread.

I'm hoping POTUS and General Mattis have some plans for that swine Moon the Goon and his ilk too, but this thread is about the clear and present nuclear danger posed to the entire world by Communist tyranny.

Let's not allow the lefts' deflection and distraction ploy to succeed when so much of their agenda has failed.

Trump has called upon Communist China to rein in its' client state and is considering economic sanctions against the Socialist overlord nation if they refuse.

As we have seen, Trump's masterful Tweet brought the new liberal President of South Korea to his senses and appeasement is off the table.

In the sixties and seventies the world saw shuttle diplomacy made possible by technological advances.

Now, thanks to American ingenuity, we have Twitter diplomacy.

What a time to be a witness to great events!

Let's be honest here. Un has only been in power six years or so. His father and grandfather were not as threatening and different measures worked with them. So when you say past administrations "pushed it under the rug for far too long" maybe you can explain what the others should have done differently.

Does this mean that you think George W. Bush handled North Korea correctly?
