Natchez man arrested for holding puppies by ears and tail
NATCHEZ, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
The Natchez Police Department confirmed that a Natchez man was arrested Monday afternoon for animal cruelty.
35-year-old Charoyd Bell was arrested and charged with carrying a creature in a cruel manner.
The arrest came after pictures posted to Facebook, showing him holding the dogs "inhumanely", went viral, sparking social media outrage.
He also posted pictures of dogs fighting each other.
The inhumane handling of multiple puppies on social media prompted an investigation that is ongoing.
