An impeachment inquiry can lead to an impeachment, but it is not an impeachment. This is a bit like calling an investigation a trial.

Once they did it to Trump on the first one in such a moronically and absurdly obvious politicized way I said somewhere on this site on that day that they have just made it so that every President from now on will face at least one impeachment trial until the people reject and force the people doing it out of office, only then will we see an end to this nonsense.
