Many people from LA have compared Obama's response to Bush's

Many have compared his decision to remain on vacation in Massachusetts to President George W. Bush’s decision to remain on vacation during the aftermath of hurricane Katrina in 2005, a move that the Advocate terms a “symbol of official neglect.”

Critics say that Obama should leave for Louisiana immediately if he wants to save face.

Will people just dismiss them as hacks and right wing apologists?

To me, it's just a reveal of how tough Iraq & Katrina were for you Bush apologists when you try to compare Benghazi & the current flooding to those disasters.

Not much more than that.

And right on cue, Thing one insults those experiencing the flooding and simply dismisses them as hacks and apologists, while he sits safely behind his computer.

Good Obama apologist

Personally I never thought much of any President touring these places. Not for the federal government in my view.

I do enjoy bathing in your hypocrisy though.

Well, it would be cool if you could find a post of me criticizing Bush for not visiting LA during Katrina.

My criticism was reserved for how inept the fed response was under his so-called "leadership."

Appreciate you bathing, but the hypocrisy is oozing from a comparison of 13 deaths in the current flooding to more than 1,200 deaths caused by Katrina. "Katrina displaced over one million people from the central Gulf coast to elsewhere across the United States, becoming the largest diaspora in the history of the United States." The recent flooding has resulted in just over 7,000 people currently in emergency shelters. According to Seahawk's article, the Red Cross estimates the cost of the flooding to be about $30 million, likely to increase. Katrina's cost is estimated at $108 billion.

Nobody in their right mind dismisses the misery of families that have lost loved ones and/or homes in any natural disaster. But, it wasn't Thing1 that brought up the comparison, that was Seahawk in the OP. To claim that the comparison is not equivalent is not hypocrisy, it is very relevant. Personally, I congratulate Thing one-ie for doing 'a heck of a job' keeping you Obama bashers at bay.

So Obama shouldn't care as much because less people died and it costs less money to repair? The OP is complaints from the people down there, but I'm certain they really appreciate you pointing out those differences while Obama golfs and vacations.

I hope you're not really saying that.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, so it's about the comparison of deaths, the numbers displace, and the overall cost that determines when a President should take action.

I'm sure the people in Louisiana agree with you. :good4u:
