Federal authorities arrested a Holliston, Massachusetts, man who reportedly made threats to Muslims, President Barack Obama and officers with the Department of Homeland Security.

Joseph Garguilo, 40, was allegedly found to be in possession of a weapons stockpile, which included pieces for the assembly of an AR-15 assault rifle, knives and tasers. A neighbor allegedly warned the government in recent days that Garguilo was "about to snap." Garguilo, who appeared in court on Monday, now faces up to 10 years in prison.

According to authorities, Garguilo allegedly stated that he sought to "plant a bomb in police station ... and kill as many homeland security officers as he can before they kill him."

Garguilo is accused of claiming intentions to attack a mosque and kill President Obama, having allegedly said that he wished he had targeted the president while he was golfing in Martha's Vineyard, and that his failure to do so was a missed opportunity.
