thanks for the sympathy. I think it has to do with education. Given that 57% of the college population is women and only 43% are men, men are forced into these dangerous occupations while women get to select office roles with little risk because more of them are able to go to college.

We must make sure we give equal opportunities to both sexes!

Bro, you're arguing for women to take over construction jobs etc? Men were doing these same jobs back when more men went to college.

If you want to make less money and be safer go sit at a desk all day as an admin.

if women can be in the military they can be in construction. We are all equal and can pick whatever occupation we choose and should have the opportunity to choose which one we want.
 
Men need to stop committing over 90% of the violence and crimes, that would greatly improve most of the those numbers that the thread creator posted!

Black, white, doesn't matter, males commit more crimes and more murders than women, therefore, they receive more prison time because their crimes are usually more serious in nature. They murder each other more and therefore, they average more prison time and it results in more males being murdered, but males also murder the majority of females that are murdered.

Don't worry though, women are starting to commit more violent crimes, maybe someday there will be equality.

Ive heard that more educational and work opportunities make people less violent. We really need to help men in those fronts.

I believe I read somewhere men get longer sentences for the same crime. We aren't doing a christie calculation where we just look at raw averages without any other context. I could be mistaken though.
