The Republicans would be smarter to co-opt Madison to control him instead of destroying his career.

If out of office, he has nothing to lose by releasing every bit of information he has.

I remember hearing on a comedy news podcast not to look up the slang term snorkeling, when a Congressman was accused of doing it in the navy. They were laughing, but saying they were serious, "you do not want to know." I figured I would look it up, and regret it to this day.

Snorkeling is the "practical joke" where one puts his mouth over a sleeping victim's penis. I think it meets the definition of sexual assault, and is done in the navy(though not particularly commonly).
