I think you hire the most competent people, not those that get a job because they have to swear and prove loyalty as the major consideration for employment

By the way, majority of individuals working in Washington have been working thru numerous Presidential Administrations, both Democrat and Republican, that is why the Pendleton Act was passed and T Roosevelt established the Civil Service

And forget the martyr bullshit, it’s old and only MAGA ever actually swallowed it
