Liberals Lie About Trump - All the Time

It's been a consistent thing during the 2016 presidential campaign. Liberals lying about Donald Trump. That's bad enough, but what really compounds it, is that the media is generally solidly against Trump, and they do all they can to discredit him, including pushing the many lies. They do it by taking hold of something that Trump says and distorting it into something that makes him look bad (talk radio, where the voice of the PEOPLE shines though, is a rare exception).

Right about now, liberals are probably fuming and saying "Whadda ya mean ?" "Who ever lied about Trump ? Where ? When ?"

OK. Let's go through the examples >> stating with one of the most recent.

1. At a Trump rally in Ashburn, VA, a few days ago, a woman was holding a baby who was crying loudly. Well, nobody wants that, including the baby's mother. Trump said “Don’t worry about that baby, I love babies. … I hear that baby crying. I like it. What a baby. What a beautiful baby."
the mother quickly decided to take the baby out of the room. Trump, looking in our direction, appeared to notice that she was on her way to the exit. And then he said, “Actually, I was only kidding. You can get the baby out of here. That’s all right. Don’t worry. I think she really believed me that I love having a baby crying while I’m speaking?”

It certainly was not an ejection — it was an unusually barbed endorsement of the mother’s own decision to depart. One other salient fact is missing from all the pieces on "babygate". Mom and baby, very much not kicked out, came back to their seat a bit later. Daniel Dale, a reporter from the Toronto Star, was sitting right behind her and wrote that the entire incident was mischaracterized. Virtually no one in the media noticed Dale’s version of events. He said he did not seek to interview the mother himself, as he did not realize until later how much attention had been paid to this incident.

Apparently Dale missed it that the media pays attention to EVERYTHING that Donald Trump says and is constantly on the lookout for anything that can be spun into something derogatory against Trump.

Dale’s account is confirmed by the mother herself — Virginia resident Devan Ebert. “The media did in fact blow this entire situation out of proportion,” she wrote in an email. “I’m not looking to make it into anything bigger. All I’m hoping is that Trump personally is aware that I am in agreement with him and stand by the fact that I was never kicked out of the rally.”

She said that she decided to leave the auditorium on her own because “it’s the considerate thing to do for others around, trying to listen or for those presenting,” adding that “it was blatantly obvious he was joking.”

The Washington Post also agreed with Dale's assessment. They said "Trump has been unfairly maligned here. We can see why some reporters ran with this tale, based only on the videotape, but it’s good example of why everything must be checked out. We’ve given Trump many Pinocchios over the course of the campaign but he earns a Geppetto Checkmark for getting at least this story right."

2. On Face the Nation today, one of the commentators commented on Trump's remark that the election is "rigged" The commentator (so important that I don't even know his name) said "This turns voters off." Well, WRONG, Mr. Commentator. Actually, this turns voters ON. And many, if not most, AGREE with Trump, that the the election process IS indeed rigged (as was the case in Hillary sabatoging Bernie Sanders' campaign).

3. The Kzir Khan fiasco - another example of the media turning what should be a victory for Trump, into a poll-dropping fiasco for him. Khan, a gold star father, ranted against Trump at the DNC over his Muslim ban policy. The media was all over it, and still is promoting Khan as a just poor, Muslim guy who lost a son in a war. They have painted Trump as a mean villain, who was insensitive to Khan.

In REALITY (if that still means anything to anybody), Khan is a grade A con artist, who was (and still is) being used by the Democrats to smear Trump. A closer look at Kahn tells the truth a) he's an immigration lawyer, who makes money from the immigration Trump was talking about cancelling, and thus, is a VESTED INTEREST, not a disinterested objective poor, gold star father. b) Khan has a long history of involvement with Muslim Brotherhood causes, and even wrote a book which he credited inspiration from Said Ramadan (one of the most notorious MB activist spreaders of terrorism) c) Khan has a long history of involvement with the Clinton "Foundation" d) rather than just going home and resuming life, as a non-partisan person would, Khan is going around on a propaganda tour, smearing Trump.

4. John McCain - Trump said McCain wasn't a war hero. The media has consistently disparaged Trump on this. But veterans who were fellow POWS of McCain back in the 60s, say that Trump told the truth, and could have said much worse about McCain. They say McCain was a collaborator with the North Vietnamese, and betrayed the US by helping the NV.

5. Megan Kelly - Trump spoke at the 1st debate, using metaphors. what he said about Megan Kelly having blood coming out, was picked up by the media, and blown up into something derogatory and crude, but it was the media who made that characterization, not Trump.

6. Same thing with the disabled reporter who Trump mocked on the stage at one of his rallies. The MSM went wild (as has Hillary Clinton in TV ads), condemning Trump for ridiculing a disabled person, THEY SAY.
But Trump claims he didn't know the guy was disabled. Didn't know who he was, and in a crowd of thousands, closely packed and jostling one anotherr, the guy was moving erratically. So what ? Anybody in that circumstance, could be moving around erratically without being disabled. But once again, it was a prime opportunity for the press to distort Trump, and portray him as heartless and mean.

The media has done everything to Trump but sneak up on him while sleeping, and paint a Hilter mustache on him. Sheeeesh!

And then there was the BS they say that Trump is not a successful businessman. Critics says he inherited a fortune from his family, and has declared bankruptcy several times. But Trump's father had a net wealth estimated at between $250 million and $400 million at the time of his death (1999), and he had four surviving children who were heirs, so Trump is responsible for accumulating the great bulk of his fortune. Trump has never personally declared bankruptcy. Some businesses he controlled or licensed his name have, but this is not unusual for a mogul who has owned hundreds of properties and businesses through the years. And those weren't even "bankruptcies" (Chapter 7) They were reorganizations (Chapter 11)

More liberal LIES.

Then there's the media BS that claims Trump said all Mexicans were rapists. What he said while announcing his candidacy is that illegal immigrants from Mexico are "bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."
Trump has made it clear he was not saying all Mexicans are criminals, or that all illegal aliens are criminals, but the media have continued to charge that he branded Mexican immigrants as rapists.

And actually Trump was over-generous to the migrants, when he said "some, I assume, are good people." They commit a CRIME when they cross the border (US Code 8; Section 1325 - Improper entry by alien). So they completely disrespect our laws (and us). What's "good" about that ?

How dare we question his words! I mean, he speaks so clearly and eloquently. Trying to wrest meaning out of what can only be described as divinely inspired speech is a fool's errand!

I'm gonna go ahead and call bullshit on this one. Before Trump mocked this disabled person for being disabled, he explicitly said "Have you seen this guy?" CLEARLY indicating that he knew what he looked like.

That's cute. Lies by omission.

When Trump was 'negotiating' another of his myriad failures with the banks, he was smart enough to include the forgiving of almost $1 billion in PERSONAL debt.

So no...he never declared personal bankruptcy because he didn't have to. He simply walked away from a huge personal debt, leaving banks/investors reeling.

Care to discuss his blanket policy of screwing middle class contractors?

We covered the Khan-Con at some length last month lol.

It may have saved Hillary's campaign, it was that brilliant a move. Trump was breathing down Hillary's neck in the polls when they trotted Khan out to play attack dog at the Dem convention. Trump took the bait and that was the beginning of his slide in the polls---he's finally recovered but you wonder where his numbers would be now had Trump not fallen for the Khan.

And it was Trumps fault. He had nothing to gain by going after Khan. Had he just said nothing people would have forgotten what was said in two news cycles.

But, the media absolutely stepped in and covered Khan's flank in order to protect Hillary. Khan, absolutely, has an interest in the immigration status quo. As such, his words at the convention would have been taken with a grain of salt.

But Trump mishandled it by making some comment about his wife. What he should have said, if anything, was that Khan makes good money on the current immigration policy.

He's been his own worst enemy at times.

Is this thread OP the work of an election year troll?

You know what they say about ducks? Who are these liberals? Media is surely not liberal as it is corporate owned and operated and only presents what is allowed in that world. Is there really a need to counter the BS in the OP? A few counters on the racist below.

"Whether he’s mocking Chinese businesspeople with broken English, contorting his body to make fun of a disabled reporter, or calling out to “my African American,” again and again, Trump has provoked anxiety and played to racial divisions. Earlier this week, Joe Scarborough, a lifelong Republican and host of the Morning Joe TV show called Trump’s remarks about Judge Curiel “completely racist.” He didn’t pass the same judgment on the man himself, but from what I see, the record would support him if he did." http://fortune.com/2016/06/07/donald-trump-racism-quotes/

"Here we have a man who for more than four decades has been repeatedly associated with racial discrimination or bigoted comments about minorities, some of them made on television for all to see. While any one episode may be ambiguous, what emerges over more than four decades is a narrative arc, a consistent pattern — and I don’t see what else to call it but racism." http://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/24/opinion/sunday/is-donald-trump-a-racist.html
