Hillary supporters, take off the blinders for a minute and pretend you're an undecided voter. Aren't you asking yourself what this Khan guy is all about? Why does he keep dragging this feud with Trump out? As if he's trying to distract him.

Is he using the death of his son as a political platform? Is he associated with Hillary's campaign beyond being an invited speaker at the convention?

Because it sure looks that way. And it doesn't make for a pretty sight.

You're really pretty obsessed w/ him.

Looks like you're worried.

Well, maybe if he would stay out of the news it would help matters lol.

Don't you worry that some people are going to conclude that Kahn is a political player? If it quacks, it's a duck and all that?

Trump supporters are anti-media. This will harden their resolve.

But, they're not the ones he needs to win over.

This guy is a pile of shit if you ask me. He's using his sons death to justify support for crooked Hillary.

I bet their son is rolling in his grave right now.

The Khan's have disgraced themselves and their son.

Trump created him, not Hillary, if Trump hadn't attacked the Kahn's he would have just been another memorable speaker at the convention. Trump only has himself to blame for this family's stardom, but of course Trumpeteers will never admit this.

It is quite simple, the Clinton attack dogs, and bitches, have decided that racism is Trump's soft underbelly. So they will wheel out more Khans in the next few months.

It is interesting. I can't find anything indicating Trump is a racist prior to him running for President.

What was he before he spoke at Hillary's convention? And you really think that speaking at a convention doesn't make one a national "star"?

'Attacked' the Khans? Wouldn't 'a lack of deference' be a better description?

Or the latter isn't sufficiently hyperbolic?

I think it's pretty obvious the media did a bang up job of making a star out of the erstwhile Islamist, K. Khan.

Trump said he was "viciously attacked." Wouldn't "disagreed with his policies" be a better description?

Trump has a point: he was attacked by Khan. In response, Trump displayed a lack of decorum in implying that Mrs Khan was silent because of religious tradition. That's not an 'attack'. An attack would be questioning Khans patriotism or something along those lines.

Trumps initial comment was actually kind of circumspect---I wasn't even sure what he was getting at when I first read it.

But the media went into hyperventilation mode [Trump-Muslim, what else do they need to know lol?] and the rest is history.
