Keith Olbermann deletes tweets threatening Scott Jennings

ZOf course he threatened his and that is EXACTLY why Olbermann quickly deleted the post when he got called out.
While the message appeared to be a threat to take Jennings off of television – with another post reading, “Now we get the fascists off real tv. That’d mean your career is next, Jennings” – Jennings and many other social media users interpreted the comments as a violent threat, mere weeks after the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Pesky details.

If this were sports, saying “you’re next, mother fvcker” would just be seen as trash talk. But this wasn’t about psyching out your next opponent.

We just had a high profile political figure murdered. And now Olbermann tweets “you’re next, mother fvcker” to a political commentator, and we’re supposed to pretend that’s not some kind of threat?

He later said he only meant Jennings’ career. But even then, saying you’re going to end someone’s career isn’t a threat?

Olbermann doesn’t cave to political pressure. The fact that he deleted the tweet tells you he knew it went too far. Watching people try to spin it shows how far gone they are in the political wars.

this is a political forum and he is linked to many many times

but thanks for showing your ignorance once again as we decide who knows what the fuck is happening around them and who does not

If I don't know something, I google it rather than say, gee guys, I am a complete idiot on this subject. derp derp
Is he not just another infotainment talking head? As I said, a dime a dozen

Fair enough not liking them, but in the pre social media days Patrick, Olbermann, Stuart Scott et al made the show must watch TV for many.
Have no clue who Stuart Scott is/was, and I only really know the other two from driving and listening to the radio, and as far as ESPN talk shows, I only recall Don Imus comment that one needed a life if they watched a radio format show on TV

a dime a dozen is ignorant trash filling the forum with nothing but "help, where am I. what's going on".

if you are ignorant of the thread topic, scroll on by
See you didn’t answer the question, is the guy just one of dozens if not hundreds of infotainment talking heads? And what makes him any more noteworthy than most of the others?

You don't know who Stuart Scott was?! He was like a cultural force in the '90's on SportsCenter. The guy was an icon. (He died young of cancer but still is spoken of and honored today.)

Never heard of him. Typical of this forum, only the most trivial and useless things get discussed.
Keith Oberman?! Who cares.
