Trust me, I am no fan of Catherine Harris, but Good people suffer loss as much as bad people, I dislike this type of politics no matter what side it comes from.

As stated before, in Deshy's mind Katherine Harris is responsible for George Bush being in the White House, therefore Katherine Harris is responsible for the Iraq War, daficits, housing collapse, bed bugs, slavery and any other thing that Deshy can think of.

Even if KH is responsible for those things todays news is not related and has no place on a political discussion board.
 
Well, it has a place. KH was a central figure in politics. If, say, Tom Tacredo's wife was suffering a medical condition which caused her to inflict this upon herself it would likely hit the news as well and be discussed here.

The main thing I have for KH is compassion. It's terrible that end of life care is so short on dignity.

I agree but go to hospice. It's a stark contrast between those who are ready to let go but can't and those who should let go but don't. My brother was one of the latter.

If the scenario you described happened to Tancredo it might hit your local Colorado news as he was a long-time Congressman in the state. When was the last time you've heard Katherine Harris's name mentioned nationally? When was the last time you heard her name mentioned on this board? According to the article it sounded like her husband wasn't involved in politics at all so it's not like he's somebody we all know (politically speaking).

To post this is just random. And since Desh posted it it's pretty transparent as to why.

I remember a few years ago all the snide comments when RFK Jr.'s wife hanged herself, so sorry, nobody criticizing Desh has any moral high ground to stand on.
