I don't care if he is Christian, Mormon, Hindu, Jewish, Pagan or whatever.
I do not support Obama's brand of religion any more than I accept Romney's EXCEPT that our culture, in the west, is to a large extent founded upon Christianity and, Obama's education, his knowledge of history, world affairs, ethics, etc etc are fashioned by society's acceptance of Christianity. They will do anything required to achieve that as they believe it is gawds will that it be done. The end justifies the means in their twisted belief system and world view. They will be the end of us all if we don't counter them every step of the way.

We need to tax the churches and their business along with the upper 4%...we need to close the loopholes that allow the richest to feed off the rest of us. There is a push for real equality rather than just the lip service we've lived with for so long. The corruption of our system needs to be rooted out and new laws enacted.

Not sure that I understand. You speak of atheism as if it is a religion itself. For some it undoubtedly is. But my position is that religion seldom impinges upon my life unless someone uses its fallacies to support actions that might have an effect upon me. But the same could be said for any 'input' into decision making. Most, of course, do not carry the dire results that religion forces (sometimes by simple persuasion of the simple minded).
I rather like the idea that man will continue to evolve as he has done since which ever beginning you accept and therefore a decision affector that prevents or discourages evolution or progress is a negative and should be treated as an enemy.
In this regard I can see very little difference between the American Christian white right and the Taliban; neither group can see past an immediate gratification and both are determined that man's progress should be brought to a sudden, jarring halt.
