Jury selection to begin in Donald Trump’s civil rape trial

A federal court in New York will begin selecting a jury on Tuesday to hear evidence that Donald Trump raped the famed advice columnist E Jean Carroll nearly three decades ago.

Carroll alleges that Trump pinned her against the wall of a New York department store and sexually assaulted her in late 1995 or early the following year as they shopped together. She brought the case last year under a New York state law opening a one-year window for adult victims of sexual assault to file civil cases after the statute of limitations has expired.

The left really want him to be the nominee, and I fear they are going to get what they want by resetting his "outsider" vibe and making it look like everyone is against him, even republicans.

Do you actually know what a jury decides in a civil case?
 
Carroll will have 2 women friends of hers testify that she told them about Trump's attack when it happened. They will have 2 women testify that Trump did the same thing to them. They will show the Access Hollywood, pussy grabbing tape. They will sho Trump repeatedly insulting Carroll and calling her names.
Don't hand wave this case away. Trump is a pig and he says he will not show up for the trial. So his lawyers will have a tough job defending him.

None of that proves he raped her. You better hope they pick jurors that hate trump as much as you and who hate the rule of law as much as you do.

They decide whether Trump raped her, and if so to what extent he has to financially compensate her.

All it takes is one trumpanzee on a panel of twelve to have a mis-trial.

I've personally, yours truly, in person, hung two juries all by myself.
I know how easy it is to do.

I'd love to see the orangutan face consequences for real transgressions that can be proven in a court of law,
but really, not one fucking trumpanzee?

That's a big ask.
