McAllen, Texas-The Texas Supreme Court has suspended a judge whose beating of his teanage daughter in 2004 was viewed millions of times on the Internet.

According to an order signed tuesday, Aransas County Judge William Adams is suspended imediately with pay pending the outcome of the inquiry started by the State Commission on Judicial Ethics earlier this month.

This family law judge presided over cases in which the actions of other parents were judged while he beat and cursed his own disabled daughter (axatic cerebral palsy), and the JPP righties see no hypocrisy.

William Adams had been overseeing family case law, often determining whether or not parents are fit to raise their children.

Judge Adams was in court Monday for a separate legal matter.

His wife sued to change their joint-custody agreement for their 10-year-old daughter.

Earlier in the month, a judge placed a temporary restraining order on Judge Adams, barring him from being alone with his younger daughter.
