Shapiro faces Mastriano in governor's race, as poll shows Shapiro with big lead

The final Muhlenberg College-Morning Call poll put Shapiro 14 points ahead of Mastriano in the governor's race.

What's even more surprising about those numbers is the majority of people who responded in that poll identified as Republicans.

Shapiro has been leaning into the issue of abortion following the Supreme Court decision overturning Roe V. Wade earlier this summer.

★ PERSONAL FREEDOM

On day one, Doug Mastriano will put an end to Wolf's mask mandates, vaccine mandates, and his draconian covid restrictions. Mastriano will reject unconstitutional edicts that come down from the CDC and the Biden administration, and he'll expand access to effective covid therapies.



★ ELECTION INTEGRITY

To keep our elections free and fair, Mastriano will appoint a Secretary of State who will secure our elections from fraud. He'll partner with the legislature to eliminate "no-excuse" mail-in voting, get rid of drop boxes, and pass universal voter ID.

Mastriano will make Pennsylvania a "2nd Amendment Sanctuary," where our rights will be protected against misguided federal bureaucrats that want to disarm law-abiding citizens. Mastriano will work with the legislature to make PA a safe, constitutional carry state.

To protect the right to life, Mastriano will sign the Heartbeat bill into law, end funding to Planned Parenthood, and expand counseling for adoption services.
