did you know the "break even" price is the point at which a farmer begins to show profit?......it is not "market price" which is what the OP was comparing to her answer.......she was about as close to the number as the OP, given that Iowa State University states that the "break even" price this year is $8.72.......and she was right when she said it depends on a number of variables, primary of which is yield per acre, which were not provided in the question......
