sep 15 2023 Denver police reportedly discovered a homeless camp featuring a tavern and other amenities.

The homeless encampment allegedly featured a pop-up bar.

There were also apparently tents and couches available to rent for prostitution.

As seen in these photos, the pop-up speakeasy featured a rug, lounge chairs, umbrellas, and Astroturf.

The homeless encampment has taken over the sidewalk at 23rd and Champa streets in Denver.

Police said they are investigating the streetside bar.

"We're hearing there was an open bar, sales of alcohol, things like that," Denver Police Patrol Division Chief Aaron Sanchez told CBS Colorado. "We have officers looking into that."

One of the tents blocking the sidewalk had been transformed into a speakeasy-type bar with several couches, rugs, and tables and shelves filled with alcohol bottles.
