japan hit by 8.9 quake

It is just so frigging difficult to follow your train of logic at times. The point I made which is indisputable is that the tsunami took nearly 12 hours to reach California rather than the minutes it took to reach land in Japan. Simple facts which if you weren't so lazy you could check yourself. I'm off to bed now so I bid you adieu.

What is "indisputable", is that 3D posted an article and you just had to "quibble" about them having enough time.
Then you tried to make it look like the Japanese only had minutes to respond and when challanged on your "opinion", you squealed like a pig stuck in the fence slats.

How can we miss you if you won't go away, or do you just keep the lid up all night long while you slumber?

Not a quibble, just stating a fact. Are you saying that 12 hours was not long enough to warn people in Crescent City that there was a tsunami on its way? According to this report, police went door to door warning people in low lying areas to seek higher ground well in advance.

Which has what to do, with your attempt to make it appear that the Japanese only had a few minutes between when the earthquake occured and the tsunami hit?

Quite appropriate as Sancho was illiterate and proud of it but by influence of his new master he develops knowledge, so if you stay around long enough you might just learn to be like him.

Well, I have learned a lot from the poster that used Don Quixote as his sign in name; so I would have to say that in that aspect your are on the right track.
Unfortunetly; the jackass learned nothing and that does appear to be your lot in life.

Bray on Tom.

Of course, you do know that Don Quixote was well... a quixotic character. Given to delusions of grandeur and quite insane, doing battle with people he imagines as monsters or villainous knights. So keep tilting at windmills, you are the right track.
