Meanwhile, the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 insurrection is seeking more information from Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.) about a tour he led through the Capitol the day before the riot. After reviewing surveillance video, social media accounts and interviewing witnesses, the committee said it discovered that the conservative lawmaker led 10 individuals through the Capitol complex for hours despite the building being closed to the public. The committee is scheduled to hold its next public hearing Thursday.
