I feel its a mistake. It would have been a great opportunity to show the validity of unnamed sources and further discredit the MSM.

The MSM is on the fast track to irrelevancy.

Tillerson is a big money guy, but he's also a state department outsider who knows many of the international players.

I'll just say it's an interesting pick and leave it at that lol.

Journalism is a liberal venture. Go look a J schools across the country. It's not turning conservative anytime soon.

Who he picked for this position who have had zero effect on how the rest of the country views the MSM

If he keeps the price of gas down he's got my vote. If him, Trumpkins and Vladimir go to a titty bar in West Palm and grab pussies then not.
 
Terrible choice. This man has heavy conflicts of interests including his vas business network. He's buddies with Putin, and will let his business dealings get in the way of good US policy. IMO.

I feel Trump should have went with Romney.
 
Good pick: a business negotiator. If we view the world as a marketplace instead of through a political lense we're far better off.

Ugh lol.

That's an easy criticism of the pick. And who knows, maybe Tillerson will suck [in which case he's still better than 'climate change=national security threat' Kerry].

At minimum, that madness should be behind us.

It all comes down to how serious Trump, and Tillerson, are about bettering things for this country at home and abroad. The problem with your criticism is it assumes from the outset that Tillerson will turn Hillary-esque and use the position to better Tillersons place in the world.

On the other hand, if he and Trump are on the same page, you'll have trouble convincing me a man with his connections can't get something positive to happen in terms of diplomacy and this country's objectives.

I'll go with the less cynical view, for now.
