Been following Twitter on today's Barcelona 'terrorist' attack.

Obama, Hillary, Trump of course and some others gave the usual platitudinous utterances you could place a Twitter hashtag in front of. Not that there's necessarily anything wrong with that.

But Lordy, the media meltdown Trump caused by doing THE EXACT SAME THING Saturday after the Charlottesville incident.

Thoughts?

We fought a war against Nazi's and now we have Nazi's marching , saluting and chanting death to Jews etc. The KKK was there was marching as well. In 2017 being openly white supremacist isn't going to fly with most people in this country.

There's really no comparison to what happened in Spain

They've been marching here for decades but people ignored them.

Over the past decade I've seen the rise of antisemitism on campuses. Not long ago the safe space absurdity came along. And here most recently, Nazi-like fascism in the form of violently suppressing speech.

The Klan is becoming redundant.

Technically, the West has been fighting Islam for almost 1400 years.

They've been trying to have the names of buildings changed on some campuses based on the person's past.

I don't see nazi and white supremist marches around where I live and I can't speak to how frequently they occur elsewhere in the country but they were armed Nazi's. Fvck them. And now their actions have caused even more confederate statues to come down. They brought this upon themselves

Yeah a few idiots running their mouths compared to zealots intent on killing, very different.
But since the left find violence perfectly acceptable as a response to differing opinion, now the two start coming together.
Its just dumb luck there wasnt a ball game outcome to get a full blown riot going.

Differing opinion? I hope people on the right don't agree with Nazi's and white supremacists.
 
I was in Barcelona in June, my family started to walk down Los Rambles, I said to my wife, if a terrorist was going to hit, it would be right here so we left. I'm thinking I have pretty good judgement about now. Praying for those victims today.

My thoughts are that trump is as hypocritical as usual. He doesn't condemn attacks by terrorists ON Muslims. He only cares when the victims are non-Muslim.
