During a press conference Wednesday, President Donald Trump was asked why he thinks that the coronavirus will disappear without a vaccine. His answer left many confused.

“It’s gonna go. It’s gonna leave. It’s gonna be gone,” he said.

“Why do you think without a vaccine, the virus would be gone?” asked the reporter.

“It’ll be eradicated,” he said, refusing to answer how that would happen.

Trump, who doesn’t generally believe in science, has largely deferred to the doctors on the coronavirus task force, but in some cases, he’s invented his own conclusions.

Last week, Trump speculated that since disinfectants kill the virus so well that the team looks into injecting such disinfectants into people’s bodies. In the days since, there has been a spike in poisonings.

Florida Fanatic has taken over from Loony Central as the number one loony from Florida. Thailand and Vietnam haven't had any new deaths for nearly two weeks, the reasons are quite simple, humidity, heat and UV. Once the relative humidity goes above 60% the virus is fucked just like your brain!

The common cold doesn't kill 100,000 Americans in 10 months. That's the figure now projected by Trump...and that's with a vaccine by December. He admits the risk of losing millions.

This economy will never begin to recover until people feel its safe to go about their daily business as they have in the past. The health concerns of Americans must be dealt with first, then the economy will take care of itself.

Please provide medical documentation that the COMMON COLD has not resulted in FATAL PNEUMONIA for thousands of already weakened elderly Americans, or STFU.

Most people have NO SYMPTOMS from COVID. It will be another seasonal threat to the elderly and already ill.

If you don't feel safe, don't leave the house until you do...That was easy....The majority of us are taking care of ourselves and our daily business...perhaps differently;) it's silly to just sit and stew when it's totally possible to get things done...;)

Indeed.

Americans need to understand that there is risk in every endeavor.

When a commander sends troops into battle, he/she knows that there will be fatalities. There will be fatalities with opening up states but there will be fatalities with remaining closed.

Balance is the key and it will be difficult to find that balance.

No one is being forced to leave their homes.
